Plagiarism Notice
Al-Ridha: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat enforces a strict policy against plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. Authors must observe the following principles:
-
Plagiarism Screening: All incoming submissions will be systematically screened for similarity using specialized plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) prior to initiating the peer-review process.
-
Similarity Threshold:
-
The maximum overall similarity index tolerated is 20%.
-
Single-source similarity must not exceed 3%–5%.
-
Matches in the bibliography, quotations, and common phrasing are excluded from this threshold calculation.
-
-
Action on Plagiarism:
-
Similarity between 21% – 30%: The manuscript is returned to the authors for revision and proper re-paraphrasing before re-evaluation.
-
Similarity above 30% or severe plagiarism detected: The manuscript will be rejected outright without entering the peer-review phase.
-
-
Post-Publication Plagiarism: If plagiarism or severe copyright infringement is proven after an article has been published, the editorial board reserves the right to issue a formal Retraction Notice in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
