Background & Establishment:

• Initiation: Al-Ridha: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat was established under the initiative of the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) at STAI Al-Hamidiyah Bangkalan.

• Core Purpose: The journal was founded as an academic medium to publish and disseminate community empowerment projects, participatory action research, and societal contributions by lecturers, students, and practitioners.

Key Milestones & Publishing Transformation:

• Online Publishing Platform: Managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS 3) platform to maintain transparent, accountable, and standardized editorial and peer-review workflows.

• Open Access & Licensing: Fully committed to open science by providing immediate open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

• Publication Frequency: Published regularly twice a year (e.g., in June and December).

• Digital Identifiers & Indexing: Implementing persistent digital object identifiers (DOI) via Crossref and continuously expanding its indexing reach across scholarly repositories.
